Tensile strength refers to the amount of load or stress that the steel can handle until it stretches and breaks. As its name implies, tensile strength is the steels’ resistance to tension caused by mechanical loads applied to it. The higher the grade the higher the tensile strength.

Zinc plating gives a smart and very shiny silver finish with a very very slight tint of blue. The plating gives the steel good weather resistance but the screws should not be left wet for long periods.
